BLUE is an exhibition based on small details of large subjects. All of these paintings are tiny details of the surface of the water of the Pacific Ocean or Mediterranean Sea.
For years, I have been fascinated with the fact that humans are aware of objects within an angle of two hundred degrees, but only the articles included within an angle of two degrees from the eye will form an image on the fovea and therefore be observed accurately.
This is considerably less than most people imagine and means, for example, that only about two letters in any word on this page can be studied in detail.
